Day One:
It was worse than I thought it would be, the garden was completely overgrown. My favorite was the three foot tall weed growing through my breakfast table. The trumpet vine that I moved to the side of the old chicken coop three years ago has taken over. It is going to take a lot of snipping and digging to get it under control. I don't think I will ever be able to get rid of it, the way it spreads under ground.
It was about 75 degrees F. A bit warm, but the sun was behind a gray scrim of clouds. It feels like it will rain.
I spent the whole time gardening.

After Day one.

I want to go back out there and do more, but that is my typical routine. Go full force on one project and ignore all of the other things that need to be done.
